Our first course started on Sat 5 April 2014, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the nice warm pool and all the fun and games!

I was so impressed that we didn’t have any tears in the water, all the babas and their parents did so well!

Baby (6 – 8 months) Group: Hanneke & Markus, Sjan- Marie & Juliet, Que-Anne & Saskia and Miné (instructor).

We introduced some basic water safety skills:

– Getting in and out of the water safely

– Moving along the edge of the pool

– Turning around and going back to the side

Parents also learnt some new handling skills and splashy variations on a few songs.

Toddler (8 – 12 months) Group: Doing “Humpty Dumpty”. Bret & Ciaran, Mellisa & Jude, Terrence & Lola, and Miné. 

I was very pleased to have 2 dads in our Toddler class. Its not often that the Dads get to share in the swimming fun!
